J.R. Reid (Lakers) Scores 10 Straight to Marv Albert’s Surprise

I think I would find any other announcer doing this pompous. However, I’ve always enjoyed Marv Albert subtly expressing his surprise or enjoyment whenever a lesser player makes great plays or when commenting on a poor area of a player’s skill set. In this case J.R. Reid makes five straight jumpers to score 10 straight points for the Lakers much to Marv Albert’s and Reggie Theus’s surprise. Disclaimer – unfortunately, the version of the game I have has off-sync audio. April 2, 1999.
