June 3, 1990 – Detroit Pistons power forward John Salley delivered daggers in Game 7 of the 1990 Eastern Conference Finals. In the midst of a 31-14 second quarter Pistons outburst, Salley offered up a dunk, emphatic rejection, and key jumper with the shot clock winding down. In the fourth quarter, Salley finished off Chicago with a reverse alley-oop dunk from Isiah Thomas.
The Pistons would go on win the 1990 NBA Championship, defeating the Portland Trail Blazers in five games. It was their second consecutive championship.
