Darryl Dawkins propels a fourth quarter run by the 76ers to keep their season alive and tie the series 3-3. I don’t know what is more unbelievable. The fact that Julius Erving just appears to ignore Larry Kenon and gets backdoor’d by him twice in a row or Dawkins’s three straight blocks in three possessions. April 29, 1979.
Disclaimer – this Hardwood Classics version of the game inexplicably fast-forwarded over a good chunk (five minutes or so) of Philly’s fourth quarter comeback. Thus two of Dawkins’s points are missing.
R.I.P. Darryl Dawkins
